The OTT ecoLog 800 is a compact system for monitoring water level, temperature, and
conductivity in surface and groundwater. Complete remote data access is available via
GSM/GPRS cellular using SMS, HTTP, FTP, and e-mail, providing users with all data and staus
messages from the office. Additionally, the OTT ecoLog 800 was designed for full installation
into groundwater wells, eliminating the potential for vandalism and exposure to the weather
elements over time.
Featuring a 4-electrode conductivity cell incorporating graphite electrodes, the OTT ecoLog
800 is robust and resistant to contamination, and measuring errors caused by polarization
effects are virtually eliminated. With a durable ceramic pressure cell, saltwater-resistant 904 L
stainless steel probe, and kevlar-reinforced cable, accurate measurement is ensured over time.
Additionally, the OTT ecoLog 800 features a datalogger with 4 MB of memory, allowing over
500,000 measurements to be stored. With lithium batteries, the OTT ecoLog 800 can last over
10 years in the field, reducing the potential for data gaps and instrument downtime.
